What's old is new again: Vermont woman collects and repairs used stuffed animals to reduce waste

Punch, the abandoned baby monkey who soared to fame for tugging around a stuffed toy, ran to it for comfort after it was beaten by an older monkey at Ichikawa Zoo in Japan on Thursday. The monkey was put into a macaque enclosure in January following care from zookeepers after he was abandoned by his mother. The plush toy was given to Punch to serve as a surrogate mother and to provide tactile comfort.
