#Times360Malawi Delivery services at Lirangwe Health Centre have been suspended after strong winds tore the roof off the maternity wing on November 30, 2025. According to the facility’s Nursing Officer in Charge, Patricia Mathanki, the damage has forced the centre to suspend all delivery services. Expectant mothers are now being referred to nearby health facilities, such as those in Mdeka and Lundu. One of the women seeking care, Mirriam Assam, said she hopes the hospital resumes normal services
