The Irish PEN award for Literature is given to a leading Irish writer each Spring at the Annual dinner, attended by many well known writers.

Here we aim to give you solid tips and advice to improve your writing from a wide range of Irish authors. Whether you write fiction or non-fiction, scripts or poetry we hope that you will find articles here to guide and inspire you.

This 3-week introduction course is a taster class for anyone who’d like to try a bit of creative writing (or who wants to get back into it). Each week there will be a short module to read, assignments to complete, and group discussions to participate in (conducted through an online classroom – log in whenever, and whenever, suits).
