More pupils are missing out on extracurricular activities and school trips as parents cannot afford them, it has been suggested.

Farmers, officials and industry leaders in Ivory Coast said fairer prices for cocoa are more urgent than ever before.

The findings have been released ahead of the NASUWT teaching union’s annual conference in Liverpool over Easter.
