Two people familiar with negotiations say two-time Super Bowl champion defensive tackle Khalen Saunders is being traded from New Orleans to Jacksonville for center Luke Fortner.

Rod Walker writes that although Kellen Moore would like to make a decision on the New Orleans Saints' starting quarterback soon, it could come down to the third preseason game.

Saunders is a 29-year old defensive tackle who listed as DT2 on the Saints' depth chart behind Davon Godchaux. The big fella had 43 tackles, including two sacks, along with an interception last season for New Orleans.
