The Cincinnati Bengals season is officially over, and it was far from what fans and the organization expected going into the year, but that doesn’t mean there weren’t still some bright spots along the way.

Ja'Marr Chase became the 6th NFL WR since the Super Bowl era to win the receiving triple crown for the Bengals in 2024.

Brian Callahan and the Tennessee Titans secured the top pick with a 3-14 record. The New England Patriots held that spot prior to their regular-season finale, but a win over the Buffalo Bills dropped them to No. 4 at 4-13. The Cleveland Browns (3-14) finished with the No. 2 pick and the New York Giants (3-14) were slotted No. 3.

The Cincinnati Bengals were expected to be one of the best teams in the NFL, yet they ended up losing numerous one-score games, enough to put them on the bubble and ultimately finish their season prior to the NFL playoff commencing.

New England Patriots defensive coordinator DeMarcus Covington is reportedly planning on interviewing for the defensive coordinator job with the Cincinnati Bengals on Wednesday. NFL Network’s Tom Pelissero reported the news on Tuesday.

The Cincinnati Bengals now have two interviews for the defensive coordinator position lined up. Per the NFL rumor mill, the first interview will happen on Tuesday with Raiders defensive coordinator Patrick Graham.
