Joshua Allen, who famously won season 4 of So You Think You Can Dance, has died at the age of 36. TMZ broke the news Allen's family member confirmed his demise on September 30, though they declined to share his cause of death. They also asked for "privacy and prayers."

Born in Fort Worth, TX, Allen was announced winner of the fourth season of So You Can Think You Can Dance on the August 7, 2008 show, winning $250,000. He was crowned the champion over late runner-up Stephen “tWtich” Boss, the longtime Ellen DeGeneres Show DJ, who died by suicide at age 40 in December 2022.
