BBC bosses have decided not to renew John Torode's contract following an accusation of alleged racism that the MasterChef star denies, and a number of stars are now in the frame to replace him

The BBC in a statement said an “extremely offensive racist term” had been used in the workplace, prompting Torode’s contract to not be renewed.
