Visitors enjoyed a fireworks finale to conclude the annual Menorah Lighting at the Commons at Calabasas on Monday, Dec. 30.

It may have taken 175 years, but Vallejo held its first-ever official menorah lighting and Hanukkah celebration on Tuesday afternoon near City Hall. Earlier this month the Vallejo City Council voted 4-2 to adopt a resolution authorizing the acceptance of a donation of a menorah and the display thereof on public property designated by the council.

Dozens of greater Oneonta residents gathered for a community menorah lighting in Muller Plaza on Tuesday, Dec. 31, celebrating the seventh night of Hanukkah.
