One person has died following a wrong-way collision that occurred early Monday morning on the Palmetto Expressway in Miami-Dade County, the Florida Highway Patrol confirmed.

The crash occurred on U.S. just after noon on Saturday, July 12, FHP said. The motorcyclist was not wearing a helmet.
