Top-seeded Jessica Pegula has beaten five-time major champion Iga Swiatek 6-4, 7-5 to win the grass-court Bad Homburg Open. It extends Swiatek’s year-long title drought.

The final of the fifth edition of the WTA Bad Homburg Open is set, and it features two great champions. Iga Swiatek is in her first final since the French Open last year, and that too without dropping a set.
