Mumbai team announces 17-member squad for their upcoming Ranji Trophy match against Jammu & Kashmir, scheduled for January 23 at the MCA’s BKC Ground. The team will be led by Ajinkya Rahane, with India captain Rohit Sharma and young batter Yashasvi Jaiswal included in the squad.

Rohit Sharma will turn up for Mumbai against Jammu & Kashmir in the penultimate round of Ranji Trophy group league games.

Notably, Rohit last played in the Ranji Trophy back in 2015. His recent outing on India's Test tour of Australia was disappointing as he managed just 31 runs across five innings, following which he stepped down from the XI for the final Test in Sydney.

Participating in domestic cricket will help these star players regain form and fine-tune their skills ahead of the international tournament.
