The Baltimore Orioles are tweaking their roster, ahead of a clash Saturday with the Houston Astros. Baltimore is having a rough season.

Ramón Urìas beat Jackson Holliday’s throw to first, allowing Carlos Correa to score from third and the Houston Astros outlasted the Baltimore Orioles 5-4 in 12 innings Saturday night.

A win is a win, but I don’t think the Astros deserved it. Neither did the Orioles, though. One of my favorite things about this current iteration of the Astros is their propensity for turning seemingly below-average pitchers into contributors.

The Astros are in a heated divisional battle with the Mariners and the team will be missing its All-Star shortstop on Friday.

The rookie right-hander was tossing a perfect game through 7.2 innings before Ramon Urias broke it up with an infield single in the eighth, but Young quickly regrouped to finish the inning and secure his first career MLB win.
