Oakland Hills residents expressed frustration and concern that two local fire stations are set to close on Monday.

The closure is supposed to be temporary, only for six months, and the goal is to help with the city budget deficit, but residents worry even a temporary closure could have dangerous ramifications.

Because these stations are being "browned out," it means they will be empty with nobody answering calls for help. Station 10, which is already closed for renovations, will remain closed as well because of the cuts.
