NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WKRN) — An investigation is underway after a teenager was killed and three people were injured in a shooting in East Nashville Wednesday night. Officers were called to the 500 block of South 5th Street in the James A. Cayce Homes around 8:45 p.m.

Metro Police have announced that the pedestrian who was in critical condition has passed away from her injuries.

Three others suffered non-critical injuries. A 19-year-old from the masked group was hit in the leg. A 23-year-old man was shot in the arm, and a 55-year-old man was hit in the leg. Police say the older individuals are not believed to have been involved in the gunfire exchange.
