Kittredge did not look too sharp. He allowed a single to lead-off hitter Jesús Sánchez, and then served up a two-run homer to Otto Lopez, his 10th long ball of the season. But he settled in from there, retiring the next three batters he faced to close out the Orioles 5-2 win.

As good as the Orioles were in June, they have been even better in July so far. Through nine games this month they are 6-3. That includes their 5-2 win on Friday night in which Dean Kremer was fantastic and the bats were productive. Could we kick the all-star break back another week? I don’t want this run to stop.
