The London-bound Boeing 787 struck a medical college hostel in a residential area of Ahmedabad minutes after takeoff Thursday, killing 241 people on board and at least 29 on the ground. One passenger survived.

AHMEDABAD, India (AP) — Search and recovery teams continued scouring the site of one of India’s worst aviation disasters for a third day after the Air India flight fell from the sky and killed at least 270 people in Gujarat state, officials said Saturday.

There were approximately 12 cyclists riding together on Waterton Road near Moore Road when the crash happened at around 9:18 a.m., according to South Metro Fire Rescue officials.

A pedestrian in Ames was killed on June 13 after being struck by a car. At approximately 7:50 p.m. on June 13, Ames officers were called to a car crash at the intersection of Bloomington and Grand Avenue, according to a news release.
