The director of national intelligence asked the Justice Dept. to consider prosecuting people in the intelligence community for alleged leaks to news organizations.

Director of National Intelligence Tulsi Gabbard has referred two intelligence community officials to the Department of Justice for criminal prosecution over alleged leaks of classified information, according to a Wednesday report.

Director of National Intelligence Tulsi Gabbard said she made two criminal referrals on Wednesday related to alleged leaks in the intelligence community and said a third referral is “on its way.”
