MELBOURNE, Australia (AP) — Aryna Sabalenka has advanced to the quarterfinals at the Australian Open, where she's three wins from achieving something no woman has done since the 1990s.

While there have been plenty of surprises in the men’s bracket so far, most of the top women have progressed through the draw without an issue.

Australian Open's defending champ Aryna Sabalenka will face Mirra Andreeva in the Fourth Round of the tournament today. The match will take place in Rod Laver Arena at 7:30 p.m. ET/4:30 p.m. PT.

Coco Gauff and two-time defending champion Aryna Sabalenka have moved closer to another semifinal showdown at the Australian Open.

With a 6-1, 6-2 victory over 14th-seeded Mirra Andreeva to open play Sunday at Rod Laver Arena, Aryna Sabalenka advanced to the quarterfinals of the Australian Open. She'll be joined there by Coco Gauff.
