On Tuesday night, the Frost players walked into their locker room wearing jerseys – but not with their own names on the back. They each bore either “Rooney” or “Hensley,” the Frost’s two starting goalies.

The Ottawa Charge got things going early in the game and were able to keep the Frost off the board the entire time to clinch the win.

Frost coach Ken Klee called a timeout with just over a minute to play in the third period following an icing call against the Charge. Klee pulled his goaltender, but the Frost were unable to get another shot on goal.

The Utah Hockey Club (19-19-7) recorded a crucial 4-2 win against the St. Louis Blues at Delta Center on Saturday to remain in the thick of the Western Conference wild card race, but the week ahead provides no relief.

The Minnesota Wild have recalled goaltender Dylan Ferguson from the Iowa Wild, the team announced Saturday.

This weekend’s game at the Videotron Centre is the first of two Takeover Tour games for the Charge, who also play the Toronto Sceptres on Feb. 16 at Rogers Place in Edmonton. Both venues, with capacity of 18,000 and 19,000, are either sold-out or close to it.
