Cleveland Browns rookie quarterback Shedeur Sanders largely impressed during his NFL preseason debut last week, but assessments of his performance by those in the league have been a mixed bag.

"Shedeur Sanders took full advantage of an opportunity to start Friday against the Carolina Panthers, with Flacco not playing and injuries keeping out Kenny Pickett and fellow rookie Dillon Gabriel," Sobleski noted.

For Shedeur Sanders, who famously fell from a projected top-five pick all the way to the fifth round of the 2025 NFL Draft, he made the most of his NFL debut and may have just crashed the party in the Cleveland Browns crowded quarterback room.
