At least they got another All-Star selection out of the evening, when MLB announced that left-hander Andrew Abbott joins teammate Elly De La Cruz on the National League squad next week as a replacement for Dodgers pitcher Yosh Yamamoto.

The Cincinnati Reds have opened their final homestand before the All-Star break with another rain delay. The start time for Monday night's opener of a four-game series against the Miami Marlins has been pushed back by more than an hour by adverse weather in the area. The Reds say they expect first pitch to be 8:15 p.m.
