Production of the new series of MasterChef, presented by Gregg Wallace, was underway when allegations about the presenter came to light, leaving its future uncertain

The final series of MasterChef featuring long-time presenters Gregg Wallace and John Torode is still expected to air, despite both men exiting the show following separate controversies. According to sources, the BBC and production company Banijay UK are planning to broadcast the last amateur and celebrity editions “once the dust settles.”

After an inquiry into Wallace's behavior revealed claims against two separate people, Torode said on Monday: "I am the individual who is alleged to have used racial language on one occasion."
