Last night (Jan 5-6) was this winter’s coldest so far in the UK, with London hitting an extreme low of -8C. Snow is notoriously the most difficult weather phenomenon to accurately predict, but according to weather forecasters, there is a chance we could see the white stuff over the next few days. Here’s what they’re saying.
It comes as London is one of the few places in the UK today (Monday, January 5) to not have been hit with a weather warning. The Met Office has issued a series of yellow warnings of snow and ice, and amber warnings of snow across Britain.

London latest snow forecast: Will there be more in the city this week?
Despite the freezing conditions, there’s no forecast for further snowfall in London this week. According to the latest BBC Weather outlook, the capital is actually set to enjoy a break from the cold, with temperatures rising to around 10°C by the end of the week.
