There’s no new episode of “Saturday Night Live” on tonight, Saturday, Sept. 13. Season 51 of “SNL” premieres on Saturday, Oct. 4. The host and musical guest for the premiere have not been announced yet, although some fans have speculated that Taylor Swift might appear on the season premiere.

Saturday Night Live star Bowen Yang opened up to People magazine about his place on the legendary sketch comedy show amid a series of increasingly shocking cast exits in recent weeks. Speaking to the magazine at a pre-Emmys celebration where he was being honored,
"I've always gone by the instinct of, do I have more to do? And I feel like I do," Yang said of the upcoming season 51. "Even [ SNL boss] Lorne [Michaels] and I talked about it, and Lorne was like, 'You have more to do.'"
