AUGUSTA, Ga. (WRDW/WAGT) - Multiple ICE protests took place across Augusta on Sunday. These protests were organized after an ICE agent in Minnesota shot and killed Renee Good. One protest happened outside of Trinity on the Hill Church on Sunday morning, while other protestors lined Walton Way outside Unitarian Universalist Church in the afternoon.
Vigils and peaceful protests are planned in cities across Florida, including Coral Springs, Naples, Sarasota, and Cocoa. Numerous ICE protests are being held over the weekend in Florida following this week’s deadly shooting by a federal immigration officer in Minnesota.

Anti-ICE protests are ongoing across the country, four days after the death of 37-year-old Renee Good, who was fatally shot by an ICE agent last week. In Minneapolis on Sunday, demonstrators gathered in neighborhoods where additional ICE raids were underway—some cried and screamed as residents were taken into custody by agents.
