The Government has agreed to the next block of funding for West Yorkshire’s mass transit scheme going into the mid 2030s, providing the business case stacks up.

The Chancellor has confirmed that the West Yorkshire mass transit system will be a tram network, saying it “does not mean a few better buses”.
