Denmark has temporarily banned civil drone flights in its airspace as it prepares to host a top European Union meeting on defense and the war in Ukraine, and after a surge of suspicious drone activity at several airports and military sites last week.

On Thursday the prime minister of Denmark, Mette Frederiksen, addressed her country in what was effectively a wartime statement, regarding the sudden appearance of mysterious drones over critical infrastructure, civilian and military.
Drone overflights again caused disruptions at Danish airports on Wednesday night, officials said, in the latest instance of unexplained drone sightings.
Denmark has said it has observed drones at several of its armed forces’ locations overnight for a second consecutive day. The defence ministry said in a statement it had "several capacities deployed" after drone sightings from Saturday into Sunday night.
The program involved fitting girls as young as 12 with painful intrauterine devices without their knowledge or consent.
