A tropical trough moving across the Florida Peninsula will pull moisture across the state, leading to significant rainfall in southeast Florida.

Showers and storms will gradually decrease this evening, and a few isolated showers may still occur overnight. Expect temperatures in the mid-70s in the morning. Even higher rain and storms are likely to begin the work week.

Central Florida is preparing for strong storms as sea breezes from both coasts collide south of the I-4 Corridor, leading to potentially severe weather conditions. Deep tropical moisture will result in more rain on Sunday as a broad area of low pressure begins to form across the southeast.
