Sanders said in January that there was a "couple of teams that I won't allow him to play for" and that the family had a preference for the projected first-rounder.
This is not the first time Sanders has entered himself into his son’s pre-draft process. Back in November, Sanders said he would “privately” intervene with the potential landing sports of both Shedeur and Hunter if he thought the “wrong” team drafted either player.
Despite the Saints publicly committing to moving forward with Derek Carr remaining as the team's starting quarterback, draft experts like ESPN's Mel Kiper Jr. have mocked quarterbacks like Ole Miss' Jaxson Dart to be New Orleans' first-round pick this year.
