Federal flight tracking information suggests at least a Sikorsky UH-60A Black Hawk helicopter, belonging to the U.S. Department of Homeland Security, and a light-utility Airbus Helicopter H125, belonging to U.S. Customs and Border Protection, have flown in and out of nearby Hillsboro Airport on recent nights.

The White House shared a press release on Tuesday in response to President Donald Trump sending the National Guard to Portland.

A man was shot to death in Portland’s St. Johns neighborhood early Tuesday morning. The shooting happened around 2:30 a.m. in the 6800 block of North Central Street. When officers arrived they found the man dead at the scene, the Portland Police Bureau said in a statement.
