The National Hurricane Center's 11 p.m. Tuesday advisory reported that Category 1 Hurricane Humberto is in the Atlantic Ocean, 295 miles west-northwest of Bermuda. Packing maximum sustained winds of 80 mph, the hurricane is tracking to the north at 17 mph.

San Juan, Puerto Rico — The core of Hurricane Imelda was moving past Bermuda early Thursday and weather conditions were expected to improve around the British territory. A hurricane warning remained in effect. The U.S. National Hurricane Center in Miami previously warned Imelda could bring hurricane-force winds, damaging waves and flash flooding.
The National Hurricane Center's 5 a.m. Wednesday advisory reported that Category 1 Hurricane Humberto is in the Atlantic Ocean, 275 miles northwest of Bermuda. Packing maximum sustained winds of 80 mph, the hurricane is tracking to the east-northeast at 10 mph.
Hurricane Imelda is eyeing Bermuda and Hurricane Humberto has already passed it but, says the Miami-based National Hurricane Center, both are likely to bring dangerous conditions to much of the U.S. East Coast.
