NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WKRN) — An investigation is underway after one person was killed and three injured in a shooting in East Nashville Wednesday night. Officers were called to the 500 block of South 5th Street in the James A. Cayce Homes around 8:45 p.m.

NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WTVF) — One person is dead, and three others are hurt after they were shot at an apartment complex in East Nashville. Details are limited in the investigation, but police said the victims were taken to different hospitals across Nashville.

Three others suffered non-critical injuries. A 19-year-old from the masked group was hit in the leg. A 23-year-old man was shot in the arm, and a 55-year-old man was hit in the leg. Police say the older individuals are not believed to have been involved in the gunfire exchange.

But even if you own a successful bar, the ownership can change hands between hospitality groups after the opening. A little over a year since officially opening its doors, Jon Bon Jovi’s bar, JBJ’s Nashville, is on the market… but not necessarily closing.

Police say a man jumped in the air and kicked the 70-year-old victim in the chest, knocking her to the ground.

Mayor O'Connell announced that Amazon Web Services has invited Nashville to join the Skills to Jobs Tech Alliance. This makes Nashville the sixth region in the U.S. to be part of this program, which aims to bridge the gap between education and employer needs.
