In a viral video shared by Mumbai-based content creator Moksha Shah, a coach packed with fans broke into a spontaneous rendition of Coldplay’s Hymn for the Weekend. Recorded on their way back from the concert, the video captures the electric energy and shared joy that only live music can evoke.

Mumbai-based content creator Moksha Shah, who attended the Coldplay concert, recorded the moment on the local train and shared a video of it on Instagram.

The band, in India for the Asia leg of their highly anticipated Music of Spheres world tour, performed at Mumbai’s DY Patil Stadium, attended by around 75,000 people. This was Coldplay’s first performance in India after the 2016 show at the Global Citizen Festival in Mumbai.

Navi Mumbai hotels are fully booked for the Coldplay concert, with rates spiking between ₹21,000 and ₹90,000. The concert runs from January 18-21. A third show was added due to overwhelming ticket demand.

Grammy-winning rock band Coldplay enthralled Mumbaikars with its concert over the weekend which was also attended by celebs. Their return to India after 9 years was nothing short of a cultural celebration where the band`s frontman Chris Martin captivated the audience with his humour and curiosity.

Chris Martin's Coldplay concert in Mumbai was also attended by Sachin Tendulkar and wife Anjali and daughter Sara. Fans chanted Sachin's name at the concert.

Singer Jasleen Royal added a touch of Indian talent to Coldplay's concert at the DY Patil Stadium in Mumbai on Saturday.
