The Japanese automaker is full steam ahead on electrification with a tech-heavy lineup arriving in 2026. We were among the first to check out the new SUV and sedan here at CES 2025.

Now, Honda’s back at CES with another iteration of the 0-series Saloon concept, and a new follow-up – called the 0 SUV. It’s not entirely clear how close either car is to its final production body, but we shouldn’t discount how outlandish modern manufacturers can be, especially since they’ve got to compete with increasingly wild Chinese EV designs.

LAS VEGAS, Nevada -- Honda Motor will equip its new 0 Series electric vehicles with the operating system of its retired humanoid robot Asimo, turning it into the command center for the vehicles' self-driving and other software, the Japanese carmaker said Tuesday.

The futuristic looking concept electric vehicles that Honda had introduced at last year's CES are now much closer to becoming models you can actually buy. Honda has unveiled prototype versions of the 0 Series Saloon sedan and the 0 Series SUV at CES 2025.

The Saloon and SUV are near-production models of the EV concepts Honda introduced at CES in 2024. They are slated for production in Ohio in 2026.

Honda Motor Co. debuted prototypes of its two latest electric vehicles — a sedan and an SUV — with a new software operating system that will be built at its plant in Ohio and sold starting in early 2026.

With 33,017 sales, the Honda Prologue was actually the best selling EV built by GM on its platform formerly known as Ultium. It outsold the Chevrolet Equinox EV by over 4,000 units although it did have a couple of more months on the market than the Chevy.

The vehicles are the Honda 0 Saloon, which is an updated version of a concept car revealed last year at CES, and the Honda 0 SUV.
