An updated heat advisory was released by the National Weather Service on Tuesday at 2:46 p.m. in effect until Wednesday at 8 p.m. for Monmouth and Ocean counties.
Triple-digits remain in the forecast through Thursday due to a ridge of high pressure dominating in the upper levels of the atmosphere. There will still be a decent amount of moisture in the atmosphere, which will make the feels-like temperatures reach around 108.
