Minnesota Wild President of Hockey Operations and General Manager Bill Guerin today announced the National Hockey League (NHL) club has acquired forward Cameron Butler from the Columbus Blue Jackets in exchange for forward Brendan Gaunce.

PAUL, Minn - The Minnesota Wild made a trade on Thursday morning and followed it up with another trade. First, the Wild traded forward Freddy Gaudreau to the Seattle Kraken for a fourth round pick. They have now traded forward Brendan Gaunce to the Columbus Blue Jackets for a prospect.

The Columbus Blue Jackets announced Thursday that the club has acquired center Brendan Gaunce from the Minnesota Wild in exchange for right winger Cameron Butler.
