Multiple teams have reached out to the Pittsburgh Pirates regarding center fielder Oneil Cruz's availability on the trade market, according to MLB.com's Mark Feinsand.

Major League Baseball's trade deadline, scheduled for July 31, is now just a week away. In other words, it's that blessed (or cursed, depending on your perspective) time of the year when rumors and transactions dominate our coverage.

We’re a little more than a week away from the 2025 MLB Trade Deadline, and apparently, the New York Yankees are looking to plunder your Pittsburgh Pirates. According to Jon Heyman of the New York Post,

The New York Yankees have reportedly held talks with the Pittsburgh Pirates regarding outfielder Oneil Cruz "and some others," according to Jon Heyman of the New York Post and Noah Hiles of the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette,

According to reports, the Red Sox could offer Padres Jarren Duran in a trade deal to land Mitch Keller before the deadline.

“The Yankees have had a known interest in Kiner-Falefa,” Hiles wrote. “The Post-Gazette recently learned that the Giants have also inquired about the Pirates’ shortstop, although the extent of their interest is unknown. Kiner-Falefa has arguably been the Pirates most consistent hitter this year, batting .274 with a .658 OPS over 87 games.”

Unfortunately for two-time All-Star pitcher Paul Skenes, he’s likely stuck with the Pittsburgh Pirates even if he wanted a trade ahead of the July 31 deadline.
